REAP Results

Every obstacle that arrives at a business persons door has been the result of one of the following keys being broke or missing altogether:

Resource
Energy
Attitude
Process

REAP

Translated: The business individual is struggling with Resources (funding, equipment, mentor, etc.); Energy (they know the path to take for success but opt to delay and/or not commit to action); Attitude (how often do we see all is in place for someone to massively succeed and they struggle violently to get beyond themselves or stay out of their own way); Process (path to your success is hidden in your daily routine).

Whether you are an entrepreneur (like me) or work in the midst of many (like I once did)...REAP is a dynamic tool to dissect the situation. You can chunk "any" business issue/problem down and your specific solution will gravitate to one, or two, of the four keys (Note: If the gravitational pull holds that you are lacking three...or all four keys...abort your mission, seriously, and re-evaluate where your passion lies).

The individual themself must bring the keys of Energy and Attitude to every situation. These two keys are mandatory to succeed. Don't carry sufficient energy and attitude? Don't expect others to...customers and employees know it immediately. Energy and attitude are infectious. How do you know if you emit enough energy and attitude? Ask. Ask someones opinion you respect, they'll tell you. Make it easy, ask them to rate you on a scale of 1-10. If you need work in one of these keys, take action. Is it physical fitness that's needed? Is it improving your spiritual connection? Energy and Attitude aren't something you get one day; decide today, now, you will reach out and do the things you know you need to follow-up and improve.

Resources are not as difficult a block as we're to believe. This nation has a million success stories of individuals with nothing, achieving huge success. The most millionaires this country made (at any one time) was during the depression era. Someone is willing to mentor you, someone is willing to back you...connect with the groups that are interested in supplying you with what you need, they are out there. You bring a bit of energy and attitude to the table, the resources will follow.

Process is just modeling what works and using successful routines as tactics to achieve goals. The business world calls best practices the 'best' for a reason, find the best practice for what you do (i.e. marketing), jump-in the water and start swimming like the successful people do. The internet places a world of research and solutions at your fingers. Consistency is the key to any process, until you can improve upon a process, you (and your people) follow what works, it will pay-off.

I hope you find some help here. REAP is basic, all good block and tackle fundamentals should be so many can follow them and have a high degree of success from the results.
